Everyone Who Tries to Win Me Over Ends Up Shutting Down

The thing where everyone in the world knows what [affection level] I have for other people, except me. Overnight, I gained the ability to see other people's affection levels. What do you think? Isn't this the standard setup for an otome game? Now I can have a lover on each arm and reach the pinnacle of life! If that's what you think, you're completely wrong! Because other people can see my affection levels for anyone they want!!! I can't see a thing!!! What's the use of that?!!! And so the following things happened Something's been off about my Honmaru lately. Why is everyone making weird faces? Could they have Parkinson's? That night, when I saw the heart-shaped chocolates that had suddenly appeared in my room, I was enlightened! So they've all hit puberty?!!! So I organized a sword matchmaking event with the mistress of another Honmaru. That night, all the restless swords settled down. They went back to their usual routines, looking like they'd seen through the world and renounced all worldly desires. * Back in the present day, I felt that something was off with my colleagues in the Port Mafia and our rivals in the Armed Detective Agency, too. After running into the hat rack, the mackerel, and a certain little detective several times, I understood! They! Want to frame me for an accident!!! * Later, a friend all the way in Italy sent me congratulations and a grand invitation to jump ship and work for their seafood company. I turned it down because I don't want to eat clams every day. So? Why has everyone around me been acting so weird lately? * I asked my former roommate, who was all the way in Russia, for help and told him about all the strange things that had happened recently. He replied: [You're making a fuss. Give them a beating.] Me: ??? Later, I figured it out. My ability had evolved. It wasn't a superpower or an ability, and it certainly wasn't anything like a Digimon that could summon Pokemon. It was a useless ability designed specifically to screw over its owner. It was the malice of the world!!! Theme: Why bother with romance when fictional characters are better?
