How to Make Sure Your Name Goes Down in History

After transmigrating, Fang Xingzhu had spent all her time lazing around until she got bound to a System. This System was a little unusual. It was called the "Make Your Name in History" System.

Well, it certainly wanted to start big.

System: Friend, I think you're exceptionally talented. You're sure to make your name in history!

Fang Xingzhu, playing along: ...Thanks. I think so too.

The System didn't notice her perfunctory reply. Instead, it grew even more enthusiastic. Great, friend! Let's discuss the first step. Do you want to overthrow the emperor and take the throne yourself, or become a meritorious official, help the ruler become an emperor for the ages, and make your own name in history?

Fang Xingzhu: I don't know what you're talking about, but you make a lot of sense. I just can't do any of that.

As an ordinary commoner living at the emperor's feet, all she wanted was a peaceful life.

Then news came that the emperor was getting married, and the System started egging her on. If you won't choose either option, then at least get close to the emperor, right? No need to say another word. Let's go kidnap the bride!

She crouched behind a tree, holding a kitchen knife and staring at the seemingly endless ranks of imperial guards: "..."

Damn you, System!

Making a name in history by kidnapping the emperor's bride? She'd probably be the first person ever to do that.
