I Raised a Mermaid

The mermaid in Sector 103 was throwing another tantrum, threatening to tear down the entire experimental base unless they brought Dr. Shen over. The staff were terrified. They hurriedly dragged Dr. Shen away from his nap and stood guard nearby, trembling with fear.

Dr. Shen stood beside the ten-meter-deep tank, watching the mermaid swim over leisurely. It poked its head out of the water, its wet red hair draped over its shoulders. Its eyes were damp too, pure and innocent.

Dr. Shen sighed helplessly. “What's wrong?”

The mermaid said, “Can I bite you once? Please?”

Dr. Shen said, “No.”
