The Artist and Her Ghostly Gentleman

[Working on the other story; this one is on hold]

A change in the Otherworld caused countless monsters to appear in the human world. The creatures, which fed on human souls, began hunting in secret.

But Lian Yili, a "mental patient" who knew next to nothing about the outside world, always thought they were just hallucinations caused by her possible schizophrenia.

The art studio was dilapidated in the dead of night. A fractured shadow appeared in the corner, twisted and evil.

Lian Yili: Nice atmosphere.

A strange flower born from darkness unfurled in graceful splendor, so terrifying that a single glance made people tremble.

Lian Yili: It's pretty. I'll draw it as reference material.

The black-haired girl held her brush steady, sketching, outlining, mixing colors, and filling them in. The "hallucinations" shivered in fear.

But something seemed to have slipped in that was a little different:

A weak, unscary, question-filled, overly handsome hallucination of a black-haired man who loved to make a scene all by himself.

The black-haired man shrugged helplessly, smiling innocently. "If that's what you insist on thinking, I can't do anything about it. So could you get me a chair I can sit in?"

Lian Yili: ...No.

He Yan: How about we play a game? I'll ask questions, and you answer?

Lian Yili: Go away. You're so annoying!

He Yan: I'd be happy to leave, too, but I can't.
