Dreams of a Hundred Nights

When I woke up, I discovered that my ceiling was gone.

Overnight, the world had become completely unfamiliar. The streets I knew had turned into ruins, living creatures had vanished, and there was no sign of humanity. In their place were countless pure-black, humanoid monsters.

I had no experience with dungeon runs, so I drew every monster’s aggro. After finally fighting them off, exhausted and battered, I ran into a human.

He was crouched on a wall, looking like he’d seen a ghost.

I thought if I died, it would be because those monsters tore me apart. I never expected I’d nearly get blasted to death by him instead.

Think this is an apocalypse novel? No, this is just me writing whatever the hell I feel like!

Theme: How should I know? I’m just making it up.
