The dark Elf King twirled a lock of Shu Li’s hair. “Become my bride, and I won’t eat you.”

Shu Li agonized over it for a while, then nodded timidly. “Okay!”

Later, Shu Li lay helplessly on the bed with two huge teardrops in his eyes, sobbing.

Boohoo, you promised you wouldn’t eat me!
