Senior Brother Wins People Over with Virtue

After transmigrating into the Primordial World, Xuandu becomes a disciple of Taiqing and the sole student of Lord Laozi. He avoids the Dragon-Phoenix Tribulation, survives the War of the Liches, and dodges the Investiture of the Gods. Just as he's about to live by the eight-character motto, "Keep your mind clear and do nothing; stay home forever," he receives a summons from Dao Ancestor Hongjun. The Dao Ancestor says, "You are the eldest disciple of the Daoist sect and the foremost talent of the third generation of the Mystical Sect. You must shoulder great responsibility, resolve the conflict between the two teachings, and carry on the Mystical Sect's lineage!" Xuandu: Me??? Dao Ancestor: Indeed. Xuandu: This disciple... this disciple will surely persuade them through virtue! Dao Ancestor: I bestow upon you the Heaven and Earth Dark Yellow Exquisite Pagoda, the Eastern Emperor Bell, and the Four Immortal-Slaying Swords for your protection. Xuandu immediately stood a little taller. With these supreme treasures in hand, how could he fail to persuade them through virtue? Theme: Revive the Three Teachings.
