Surgeon: Wu Jinling

This story is dedicated to all the heroes who gave their precious strength during the fight against the pandemic, especially the doctors who sacrificed their young lives. May our country become more prosperous and thrive ever more!

Blurb:

Wu Jinling, a top graduate of Fudan University's medical school, has a famous saying: "Wherever there's a difficult surgery, that's where you'll find me, watching. Wait, I want to be the lead surgeon for this one!"

Other doctors: "All right, all right, we know, Dr. Wu. We'll ask Dr. Zhou to take the next surgery, but you can be the first assistant, okay?"

Wu Jinling: "..."

When the pandemic arrives:

Wu Jinling: "This time, I'm going first. What do you say?"

Other doctors: "..."

Wu Jinling: "Nobody's saying anything, so I'll take that as a yes. I'm going."

Wu Jinling nearly became Wu Jinling No More, but luckily she came back healthy. What's more, she found the person she loved, just like the boys she adored in all the shonen manga she loved. He was gentle and strong, and full of compassion.

The female lead is a bona fide post-90s woman, with both a sharp tongue and a sense of humor. She often gets the other doctors worked up, has been an internet user for years, and is also obsessed with beer and duck heads. Give her a shonen manga and she can talk about it until nightfall. She has plenty of flaws, but she is a genuinely good doctor.

Theme: Sacrificing the individual can benefit the whole, and the interests of the collective far outweigh those of any one person.
