9: Author's Note [Getting It Off My Chest]

[Lots of negativity. Not recommended.] 1. I'm human. I get hurt, too. 2. Just getting some things off my chest. This is everyday rambling, and I may be a little extreme or emotional. Please bear with me. 3. This is a record of my journey, I suppose! I'm deeply grateful to everyone I've met along the way as I pursued writing: my readers and friends, those who criticized and condemned me, and those who praised and supported me. Whatever the past held, good or bad, it was an experience. Thank you for being with me. As time passed, what Jinjiang meant to me changed, too. 4. Some chapters and passages are written in first person, but that is just the point of view. They do not represent the author. 5. Some chapters are like diary entries, written for myself. Premise: Freedom and equality
