[Entertainment Industry] The Movie Emperor's Fans Are Coming for Me Again

Cen Feng placed third in a talent competition at eighteen, then debuted in a boy band with three other boys. The group disbanded two years later.

Cen Feng couldn't dance, sang off-key, and had only his looks going for him. After scraping together some savings over four years of working on film sets, he was just waiting for his current movie to wrap so he could collect his paycheck and leave the entertainment industry. Then he'd open a hot pot restaurant, find someone to marry, and enjoy a sweet, simple life.

But one blind date threw all his plans into disarray.

Xu Zhen was twenty-eight and had just won the third Best Actor award of his career. His professional life was flourishing, but his love life was still a blank slate. It had been a year since he broke up with his ex-boyfriend. At the urging of a friend, he went on a blind date.

Cen Feng: "Xu Zhen?! Rich, handsome, and the ultimate eligible bachelor, a five-hundred-carat diamond among diamonds!"

Xu Zhen: "Heh. This little guy is interesting."

Cen Feng: "...I'm not just interesting, I'm sensible, too. We're on completely different levels. We'd never work as a couple."

Xu Zhen: "Playing hard to get? Hah. Man, you've successfully caught my attention."

They ran into each other on set, shared an umbrella on a rainy day, and even lined up together to use the bathroom!

#BestActorXuChasesRookieCenFeng and #CenFengAndXuZhenShareABottleOnSet quickly flooded the trending charts. Xu Zhen's fans swarmed Cen Feng's Weibo every day, and even a short cooking video of his got tens of thousands of reposts.

Cen Feng was at his wit's end. "I really am not interested in your Best Actor Xu. Please stop coming after me!"
