Swan Neck

1.

At the Nancheng Opera House, everyone’s eyes are drawn to Jin Xi onstage

The slender young woman has a graceful figure and delicate curves. Under the spotlight, her eyes shimmer and her every glance is captivating.

She is so beautiful that even the red dress she wears pales in comparison.

Beauty cannot be copied, but clothes can, so someone asks Jin Xi where she bought the dress she wore that day.

Jin Xi shakes her head. “Sorry, I don’t know.”

She turns and leaves. When she gets home, she sees the dress in the trash, torn to shreds, and the person responsible.

Jin Xi says, “You owe me a dress.”

As soon as she finishes speaking, He Siheng leans down toward her, his voice low. “Aren’t all your dresses bought by me?”

She smiles. “And you’re the one who ruins them all.”

You buy every dress, and then you tear them all to pieces.

2.

He Siheng is detached and has few desires. After meeting Jin Xi, he wants to do two things

1. Make her blush.

2. Make her jealous.

Eventually, holding her in his arms, he kisses her fair, swanlike neck. As he watches her blush and turn jealous, he finally gets everything he wanted.

*You are an obsession, a delusion, something born of a boundless, dark night. And I am your devoted servant.
