It's roughly a story about a dark sentinel reborn as a young guide, falling in love with the strongest sentinel of the new generation (?).

Tens of thousands of years ago, the ancient humans of Earth went extinct. A group of "subhumans," left behind on Earth as sacrificial pawns by the new humans, survived and eventually evolved into Awakened.
The Beacon organization, made up of Awakened, ruled the galaxy for millennia. With fervent devotion, they dedicated their bodies and souls to their one and only god, Xiu.
Xiu sacrificed himself on the front lines of the battle to defend the fortress. With his own flesh and blood, he blocked "Angel's Decree," preserving the seeds of imperial civilization.
People firmly believed that Xiu loved everyone and remained among them.
Tens of thousands of years later, Xiu's consciousness awakened inside the body of a subhuman boy.
He had once been the most powerful dark sentinel in the galaxy.
But the subhuman boy called Shu Tu was a prospective guide, about to be sent to the organization for training.

At the training tower, Shu Tu met the young Awakened Speyer for the first time.
At Speyer's haughty gaze, the whole training tower fell silent.
The entire empire would one day belong to His Highness Speyer alone. Everyone belonged to him, without exception.
"Submit to me." The noble boy lifted Shu Tu's chin with his foot and said, "I am the will of God."

The blazing sun collapsed and melted away; starships fell amid mournful songs, and war shattered the silence that had endured throughout the boundless universe for countless millennia.
"Xiao Tu, when we suffer, God will come down to earth," Speyer told his little guide.
"What good is God?" Shu Tu connected to the psychic network. "It's our turn to fight now."

- Before the bottom was reborn, his guide was his older sister. Their relationship was familial and nothing more.
