Mu Luanyao is an evil spirit born from the demonic energy of heaven and earth. She was born into the mire, biting and fighting countless loathsome creatures, suffering every torment just to survive. She climbed to the peak of the Ghost Capital over filth and death, securing one of the twelve seats among the Ghost Emperors. Willow brows and phoenix eyes, red lips always curled with a hint of wickedness: a beauty the people of the cultivation world dare not even dream of. Red robes and a black blade, killing without mercy, cold and heartless, a hideous evil spirit: the nightmare of countless people in the cultivation world. "There is no pure land in this world." Mu Luanyao licked the blood from her blade, a fierce smile hidden in her eyes. "You say you want to save me?" White robes and ink-black hair, no makeup, untouched by dust, pure as a lotus, clear as water. Feng Laige's slender, pale fingers wound around a string of Buddhist beads. Her voice was calm. "A red lotus must grow from the mud." Mu Luanyao used the tip of her blade to lift a strand of her hair. A cruel smile shone in her beautiful eyes. "Let's see just how pure you are." Feng Laige lowered her eyes to look at her, her gaze as placid as water. Only after traveling tens of thousands of miles did they learn that a pure land exists in this world. Amid all the world's countless beauties, you alone are the one my heart has chosen. A Buddhist sanctuary in the human world, a lotus leaf in the heavens. You are my pure land, my Buddhist kingdom.
