(Naruto) Building a Pagoda

Why do people build stupas like this? The stonemason who laid the first stones of the foundation might not even live to see it finished. I am one such stonemason. With the little time I have, I smooth the stones and stack them layer upon layer to build my stupa. My heart and hands ache, but still I build., Jiang Nan

My stupa is their hymn.

A glimpse into a hidden corner of the Warring States' history: the brief life of Matsudaira Zhaohua and the century-long story of her successors, Tobirama and Madara, and all those who followed them on the path toward their ideals.

A serious historical drama from beginning to end: ruler and subject, mother and child, light and darkness, blood and tears, watching over and sacrifice, following and letting go.

This story has no single, specific protagonist. Every character's thoughts are biased, flawed, and sometimes wrong from their own point of view. No one is completely right. Do not identify too closely with the characters; think for yourself.
