No One to Judge

The supreme self-evolving entity of the interstellar world, the "Star of Judgment," detects a rotting planet in a distant star system.

The people there are suffering from a mental plague. Corpses litter the ground, and monsters appear everywhere.

In the eyes of the powerful and beautiful Alliance Empire, the civilization born on this planet is nothing more than primitive and on the brink of collapse.

For the sake of interstellar peace and order, General Xing, the supreme commander, issues an order: Destroy it.

His only son, Xing Ying, has just returned victorious from the Eastern Front. He thinks casually: How primitive could it be?

This arrogant, self-important child of heaven decides to travel alone to this laughable "Fallen Star."

On this land, filled with cries of terror, he meets a boy who remains unfazed among piles of corpses.

Ji Chi cradles a pale skull and asks coolly, "How long until the mutation? I'll save you if it's within three minutes. If it's any longer, do me a favor and die somewhere else."

Ji Chi carries a skeleton while his new teammate chatters away beside him.

"Ji Chi, you're not as strong as me, so stop charging ahead. Stay behind me."

"Also, you might as well hold me instead of that skeleton. It's completely cold."

"Little Ji Chi, listen to me!"

Only then does Ji Chi stop and turn around. "Don't change my name without permission."

Xing Ying notices the tips of his ears turning red, then ruffles his hair again and says brazenly, "I'm going to."

Because of you, I'll give up destroying this land.

It's not like I'm a reasonable person.

Ji Chi, whether you like it or not, you'll have to make it up to me.
