The blurb for my new novel, The God of Death Refuses to Be a Show-Off Anymore, is at the very bottom. Sweet readers, please give it a look!
The silly younger sister carefully picks out a birthday present for the aloof campus heartthrob next door, showcasing a painfully clueless sense of style. She believes the shady seller's nonsense: "The guy was so moved, he burst into tears on the spot."
The heartthrob tosses the gift aside, the corner of his mouth twitching.
When the overprotective big brother hears about it, he flies into a rage and wants to beat the heartthrob up. "If you won't cry from being moved, I'll make you cry in pain."
He figures he might as well go, but when he gets there, he discovers the guy is ridiculously charming. He just can't bring himself to hit him.
Still, he puts on a tough front: "Just you wait. Don't think you can run away after school next time!"
Later, it turns into: "Don't go anywhere after school. Wait for me to pick you up."
A cool, aloof guy on the outside, but warm and steadfast within, gong VS an innocent, handsome, adorably airheaded top student, shou
A school-life story, 1v1, happy ending.
The romance is very sweet. It's a story about two boys growing up together as they run forward side by side.
You can look forward to my upcoming novel, The God of Death Refuses to Be a Show-Off Anymore!
Now for a preview of the next novel in line!
Everyone fears the God of Death. They say he controls the lives and deaths of humankind and stands at the pinnacle of power.
Only the God of Death knows it's all a lie! Every day, he puts on an intimidating black cloak and swaggers around, taking people's lives. In reality, he's just following regulations. When someone's time is up, he has to follow his superiors' orders.
The God of Death is tired of life as an office worker. He doesn't want to be a top-tier show-off who can kill with the curl of a lip anymore. He's going to recruit a successor!
But is there really a god anywhere in heaven or earth who can change faces as quickly as he can and kill without a trace?
The God of Death travels far and wide and goes to great lengths, finally finding a sinner god in the underworld who is on the verge of being successfully reformed.
Cold-hearted and impassive, this man takes lives at the slightest whim. He's truly the perfect successor.
The man doesn't even look at the God of Death. He merely asks, his voice cold as ice, "If I help you, how will you repay me?"
The God of Death smiles. "I will bless you forever and ever, no matter where you are."
And so he prays for him every single day and night.
Later, he hears that the new recruit has risen through the ranks and now controls the power over life and death.
What a wonderful life it is when you don't have to be a show-off! The God of Death happily closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.
When he opens them again, the new God of Death, cold and impartial, is standing before him. "Do you know that the highest authority of the God of Death is the power to slay gods?"
That bow in his hands looks so cool! His show-off aura is unbeatable! The God of Death thinks, if only the arrow weren't pointed at him.
Bonus scene:
Q: Why do you keep completing your missions so well when you clearly don't want to show off?
A: Because my beloved is the purest show-off there is. I saw him in all his glory back then, and no one can imitate him better than I can.
Theme: Learn to understand.
The author writes so well!!!
Book it all first, then take your time. I really like their emotional line. My wife is such a little biscuit, how can she write such a delicate article.
This can also be said to be "conveying the Tao through writing", and it is also very beautiful.
It's over, Mrs. Fairy. Everyone is doing well
Anyang, you're so mad at me. Ahhhhhh, Mada, knock it.
I understand, but I want to be stubborn:)
It feels like a fairy tale!
I was always afraid when Miao Wei resisted her father. I was afraid that her father would beat her, or that Li Zhao would come in and her father would scold them. Fortunately, he didn't.
I don't want to know where it comes from, I just want to know what it means
Seeing this, it is very real. I have friends whose mothers have done far more horrific things than this. I am extremely grateful that I have an open-minded mother. I have the freedom to do what I like and love the people I love without hurting her.
