My Harem

From elementary school through high school, I, the emperor, encountered many beauties in my life: Mathematics, English, Science, History, and so on.

My mother taught me that there are three thousand beauties in the imperial harem, and that I should love them all.

But I...

Me: If I were an ordinary person, I would love only the empress.

Empress Mathematics: Your Majesty, it's late and the dew is heavy. You should get some rest.

If, and I mean if, I loved only one person, then I would love Mathematics alone. But I am the ruler of this realm, and the one thing I cannot do is love only one person.

From then on, the empress and I drifted further and further apart. By the time high school ended, I was old and weak, lying on the dragon bed and thinking of the past.

If only, if only it were possible, I wish I were no longer me, and Math were no longer Math.

P.S. Don't be confused. This is just about a scummy emperor, who is also me. I wrote it on a whim.
