Her Majesty the Empress Is Beautiful and Untamed!

This story went on hiatus for several years, and the bonus chapters were only added recently. They preserve the characters' personalities and the general plot, but the bonus chapters could even be said to have nothing to do with the main story. They're another story about the male and female leads. If you've read this far and still want to continue, you can skip straight to the bonus chapters once the leads get together in the main story.

Yu Huanxi was empress for thirty-six years, the only empress regent in the history of the Great Zhou.

History remembers her fondly: A woman of the Yu clan is what an empress should be.

She was about to become empress dowager and enjoy a peaceful retirement, but when she opened her eyes, she had returned to the days before her marriage.

She thought this was just as well. This time around, she didn't want to suppress her nature.

For instance, eating and sleeping, listening to music when she felt like it, and admiring handsome young men when she was free.

In short, she would follow her heart.

Who knew that Wen Renjian had returned to his days as crown prince, too?

Well, he was back, but Yu Huanxi wasn't the least bit flustered. She wanted to end their engagement amicably.

First, she tried to broach the subject tactfully. Then she tried reasoning with him. Finally, she tried telling him in anger.

None of it worked.

So she lost her temper. She didn't just argue with him, she got physical, and in the end, there was blood.

After all that, Yu Huanxi never expected she would fall for this man all over again.

Going back to an old flame was out of the question.

Well, I won't go back to him. He can keep chasing me instead.

A sweet, ethereal, vain little fairy who becomes an unstoppable, fiery fairy when she's angry × a straight-laced, old-fashioned man who ends up stifling his scheming, sensual side just to chase his wife

Both leads are reborn. It's a slice-of-life story where they both act out of character, about two lovable idiots falling in love.

Theme: The strong are never afraid of responsibility
