The Little Parent

On her first day staying with the Shen family, Su Cha was told that Shen Ri'an was a ferocious beast who ate people, and that she must never provoke him. Su Cha took her sister's words to heart. Whenever she saw Shen Yan, she ran even faster than a rabbit. At school, she acted like a stranger to him. He shone brightly on the stage while she quietly hugged her schoolbag and walked along the wall. But one day, they finally met in a narrow passage with nowhere to hide. The boy blocked the doorway with his tall frame and glanced at her lazily. "Hey, little auntie, why are you running?" The little grown-up blushed. "I'm afraid you'll chase me." Shen Yan bent down, his neck long and his collarbones elegant. His low, rich voice held an irresistible allure. "And what are you going to do if I catch you?" Su Cha's ears turned bright red. She blinked her watery eyes, looking impossibly sweet. "Then I'll have no choice but to... eat you..." Little bonus scene: At the parent-teacher meeting, the class monitor called on Shen Yan, her voice so sweet it could drip with honey. "Shen Yan, where's your parent?" The boy half-lowered his dark eyes and pointed to the little head beside him, buried in the desk so deeply it could hatch eggs. There she was. The little grown-up, who'd spent all night playing support and gotten hopelessly hooked, lifted her head, still half-asleep and impossibly cute. "Come on, wanna play together?" The whole room went so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Oh my god, this isn't the bus to kindergarten. Please spare us! P.S. The story opens in senior year of high school. Studies come first, and romance comes after graduation. Theme: Study hard and keep making progress every day.
