Lying Back to Victory in the Grim Reaper's Arms

Jing Mei worked hard for years and finally got a spacious house of her own. On the very first day after moving in, she discovered that the house already had a resident.

The resident had quite a temper and carried a giant scythe. She immediately pinned Jing Mei against the wall and told her to get out. Jing Mei was speechless. "Listen, you might not believe this, but this is actually my house..."

Anyway, she was not only forced to live with a ghost, but also had to take care of her. In her free time, she even had to accompany the young lady, who claimed to be the Grim Reaper, on ghost-hunting trips. Jing Mei assumed the young lady's last wish in life had been a rather morbid one.

But when Jing Mei was surrounded and chased by evil spirits, the young lady descended from above and dealt with everything like a demon from hell. She lifted Jing Mei's trembling chin with an icy finger and smiled wickedly. "Big sis, am I scarier, or are they?"

Jing Mei: "Ahem, do you want the honest answer?"

Later, Jing Mei was lying down when a red-clad evil ghost tried to eat her. She pointed behind herself. "There's someone behind me."

A malicious water ghost grabbed her foot. She smiled faintly. "You don't have a hand anymore."

The Ghost King tried to possess her. She gently advised him, "I suggest you stay calm. It's not easy being a ghost for so many years."

Jing Mei's ghost-attracting constitution brought the Grim Reaper quite a bit of business. The two of them made such a seamless team that they became the best partners between the worlds of yin and yang. Then one day, the Grim Reaper suddenly asked her, "Not running away anymore?"

Jing Mei counted her money. "No. I'm not afraid of you anymore."

The Grim Reaper smiled and drew her scythe. "Then why did you betray me in your previous life?"

Jing Mei: "...Let me run for three seconds first."
