Can an Immortal Run a Monster Academy? [Apocalypse]

As the youngest disciple in the sect, with a single wood spiritual root, Xu Qingye had no interest in competing for the position of peak master or meddling in conflicts among his fellow disciples, so he was ignored and pushed aside. To escape his sect and find some peace and quiet, he studied and cultivated until he became the first person in the immortal sects to ascend. He thought that once he reached the heavens, he could devote himself to growing flowers and reading books... Instead, there were endless ruins and crumbling walls. Disasters raged everywhere, zombies and monsters ran wild, and even human settlements refused to let him in. * Xu Qingye pulled a tattered book from beneath the rubble and sat outside the base, absorbed in the wisdom and scientific civilization of humanity. A wandering Zombie King roared in fury, salivating at the thought of Xu Qingye's blood. A two-headed wolf crept closer through the night, ready to tear him to shreds. A gigantic deep-sea monster wrapped its tentacles around him and spat out freshly killed bones. A half-infected Wild King with a prosthetic leg raised a knife and aimed it at this outsider. Xu Qingye looked up. "Do you want to read, too?" * Later, the human lord walked out of the city gates and saw... The sea monster holding a construction book and diligently piling earth and laying bricks. The poor scholar in a long robe, whom he'd once driven away, casually waving a hand as giant trees sprang from the ground and flowers bloomed. The sound of reading filled the classroom as the Zombie King and the wolves diligently recited the Three Character Classic, all for a certificate of merit as top students. The Wild King, who could beat the heavens and earth, stood in the corridor, being punished for not finishing his homework. * Theme: Reading changes your destiny.
