Shu Mo: “She’s figure skating.”
Later, Wen Chuxia realized that compared to this eerie world, Shu Mo was the most outrageous one of all.

After the apocalypse began, Lu Ran, whose combat power was off the charts, quickly became the boss of District One and settled into a stable life.
One day, she unexpectedly picked up a sticky lump of flesh from the side of the road. It was springy and soft, with incredible malleability.
It had shiny, moist little black eyes and tiny hands the size of her palm. It pawed at her pant leg, trying to steal her ice cream.
Lu Ran: “...Cute.”
Passersby: “???”
Some time later, a hideous humanoid lump of flesh appeared behind Lu Ran. It had twisted eyes and misshapen limbs, and toddled after her like a baby. It often fell over, then cried in a strange voice, demanding sweets before it would get up.
Lu Ran: “So cute!”
Passersby: “?????”
A while after that, rumors spread throughout the district that a beautiful, otherworldly girl was always with Lu Ran. Her long hair was as dark as ink, her eyes were bright and dewy, and she gave off a strange, bewitching charm like a sea monster.
Then she would happily ask for sweets, and always get them.
Passersby: “She’s so cute!!”
Lu Ran caught Bai Zhu sneaking out to beg for food. “Who said you could turn into a human? Turn back right now!”
Bai Zhu threw herself on the ground and rolled around: “QAQ I transformed into what humans like! Why don’t you like me? Why don’t you like me!”
Lu Ran raised her fist in conviction: “People are free to have whatever kinks they want!”
