Those Days Teaching at Jujutsu High

[Third-person narration]

Today is my first official day working in the mortal world. According to the senior who was in charge of this place before me, this city is very peaceful. I'm delighted.

But for some reason, starting on the very first night after I took over, there were massive gas explosions all over the place...

The senior with the perpetually smiling face told me this was a test of my abilities.

I hesitated, then reluctantly accepted this explanation (comforting lie) and began submitting requests to my senior to be transferred elsewhere.

After all my tireless efforts, my squinty-eyed senior finally agreed to transfer me to a genuinely normal place. On one condition: I had to finish the work I had on hand.

To make my dream come true, I gave it everything I had and finished the work. And my squinty-eyed senior kept their promise and transferred me to a... ordinary (cursed) technical (sorcery) college (high school) on the outskirts of a bustling city in the mortal world, where I became an ordinary member of the faculty.

My life's dream had come true completely.

"Uh..."
