The Ancient Foodie

Blurb:

Ye Wan transmigrates into a book as the vicious supporting female character. The original owner squandered the family fortune, was unfaithful to her husband, and betrayed her country by colluding with the enemy, ultimately meeting a grisly end, torn apart by five horses.

Ye Wan absolutely cannot make the same mistakes!

All she wants is to divorce Shen Xiuyan and open a snack shop.

She sells simple treats like shen soup, sugar cakes, flaky sesame pastries, and rose pastries, as well as more elaborate snacks like steamed rice cake, tofu-skin buns, snow-skin pastries, souffles, and French toast.

She meant to keep her head down and run a small business, but...

Shen Xiuyan, who used to be so cold toward her, keeps finding excuses to dote on her.

The haughty young lady from the family branch takes her for a confidante, and she becomes the darling of the prince's household!

Even the emperor wants to hire her at a high salary for the imperial kitchen.

At first, Ye Wan asked for a divorce.

Shen Xiuyan sneered: Come back to me when you can support yourself.

Later, her Beautiful Little Restaurant had spread across the capital, earning gold by the day and training over a thousand apprentices. Ye Wan went to see him again.

Shen Xiuyan frowned. "I have a rather poor memory."

Ye Wan was determined to divorce him. Shen Xiuyan's eyes turned bloodshot as he held her tightly against his chest. "Please, don't leave me."

A little scene:

To get a divorce, Ye Wan tried everything she could think of. "Actually, a fortune-teller once said I have a tough fate and would bring misfortune to my husband."

"What a coincidence." Shen Xiuyan chuckled. "He said my fate was even tougher, and that I was born to handle that sort of thing."

Ye Wan: ...How do you deal with a shameless man?

A clever, quirky princess with endless schemes X a seemingly aloof, sweet-on-the-outside, scheming-on-the-inside prince with overwhelming possessiveness
