Has the Sword-Wielding Inspector Confessed Today?

Miss Naruhodo is famous for being a good Samaritan, but she just can’t stop herself from picking up strays. The first time, she brought home a child who wasn’t human from a bombed-out street. The second time, she rescued a suicidal child from a river. The third time, she found a lost detective on a tram, who acted even more like a child than the other two. There’s nothing for it, Miss Naruhodo thought. I’ll just have to raise him as my son for now. But little by little, Miss Naruhodo, whose expenses were outstripping her income because of all the children she was raising, began to worry: She was out of money. Son No. 1, who accidentally became a mafia member but was actually a good kid: “...Why didn’t you tell me you were short on money? Anyway, here’s my card. Use it for now.” Son No. 2, who became a mafia member because his friend did, and lived by stealing his sworn brother’s card and sweet-talking Miss Naruhodo: “Then let’s sell Chuuya for cash! A slug that big is something no one else has ever seen, after all.” Son No. 3, who had a proper job but loved begging Miss Naruhodo for all kinds of snacks: “Mm-hmm, no problem. Don’t worry, someone will take care of us. Nothing escapes a great detective’s eye.” Mr. Mitsurugi had something to say about all this: “Ahem...” Q: Did Prosecutor Mitsurugi confess to Attorney Naruhodo today? A: Not yet, but the onlookers have already carried the marriage registration office over to them! (Just kidding.) * Couple: Mitsurugi x Naruhodo, Mitsurugi (male) x Naruhodo (female) * They were made for each other! Theme: Let me save you from the darkness!
