Before I met Mr. Agasa, I always thought school was a particularly unpleasant place. Unfortunately, I moved away just three months after we met.
I've kept the diary I started writing when I was ten, and I still look through it from time to time.
Decades have passed. I thought he had probably forgotten me long ago. I figured that if I could just see him one more time, my life would have no regrets. At fifty, my wish came true. We had both grown much older, but he was still just as he had always been, unchanged.
"I still like ginkgo trees best!"
I never imagined that, after all these decades, my heart would still flutter just like it did at the start.
A foolish woman waited for him quietly for forty years. What's another ten years of waiting for their next meeting?
A few rambling notes from the author:
This is mainly Aunt Fusae's diary-style autobiography, desu.
There is so little Hakuba x Fusae content that I had to write my own.
I opened preorders on 2020-04-21, but gave up on writing the whole thing in advance. As of the day I started posting, September 27, 2025, I had written two and a half chapters. Here's the first one for everyone to try. Updates will come whenever they come. The whole story should only be a few tens of thousands of words, so it won't be very long. Maybe I can wrap it up in 30,000 words.
If you're tired of waiting and running out of things to read, why not check out my other stories? _(:з"∠)_
This one is a long detective story: "[Detective Conan] The Cold Years"
This one is a short pairing story: "[ShinRan] Flowers Bloom and Bear Fruit Because of You"
This one is a light sci-fi mystery short story with no pairing: "[Detective Conan / Magic Kaito / Kaito Shinichi Friendship] The Thief-Catching Order"
