[ShinRan] Flowers Bloom and Bear Fruit Because of You

She's turning thirty, and Lan still hasn't married. It's all because she's waiting for that detective boy. Everyone around her feels sorry for her. Seeing her alone makes them want to urge her to get married. So how could Shinichi Kudo possibly be good enough for the daughter of the famous Sleeping Kogoro?! He's been gone for over a decade, and she still believes his ridiculous promise that he'll come back. If she'd listened to her parents and friends, she'd be living the good life by now. Why wait around for that deduction-obsessed idiot? That guy is completely unreliable! But this is Ran Mouri... How could she ever give up so easily? And then, one day, she finally received... A message. Whether or not he's part of her life, she has to keep moving forward. But why... does it hurt so much? Reader's guide: 1. A short fic written on a whim. Enter at your own risk. 2. The writing is awful. 3. Mild melodrama? 4. This story is complete, with no sequel. PS: Some readers seem to have misunderstood: Conan and Shinichi are not two different people in this story. It's just that people like the Detective Boys have always thought they were two people.
