Drink This Bowl of Meng Po's Tea [The Supernatural]

As the population booms, Granny Meng's Tea has opened many branches along the Bridge of Helplessness.

Song Qingluo becomes the manager of one of them.

But the shop has two broken tables, four battered chairs, drafty walls, and a leaky roof. Not a single real ghost comes by.

Song Qingluo decides to livestream and expand the business by catching ghosts online.

A new livestream room appears on the platform. The backdrop is a dilapidated little teahouse, and there's only one item for sale: a bowl of tea.

The streamer is cold, but truly beautiful, so the looks-obsessed viewers decide to stick around.

Viewers: Could you tell us about the product, streamer?

Song Qingluo: Granny Meng's Tea, a time-honored brand. Smell it and let go of life and death. Drink a bowl and be reincarnated.

Viewers: ...What a boring gimmick.

The number of viewers immediately drops by half. The rest ask: Could you show us a talent instead?

Song Qingluo nods, then casually grabs a random ghost, pours Granny Meng's Tea down its throat, and tosses it over the Bridge of Helplessness.

Viewers: ...What kind of garbage livestream script is this?

But soon, the livestream takes a different turn.

The top donor showers her with gifts: "My buddy used to wake up for no reason in the middle of the night, dressed in a qipao and singing opera. Ever since I ordered the streamer's Granny Meng's Tea, I sleep through the night and wake up still wearing the tank top and baggy shorts every macho guy loves!"

The second-place donor eagerly sends money: "I kept dreaming about someone chasing me with an axe, and nothing I said would stop him. After I ordered the streamer's Granny Meng's Tea, the guy in my dream dropped his axe that very night and started talking to me about love and peace!"

There are little stories such as Old Shadows in the Ancient Town, The Snowfield Bride, The President of Flower Country, and many more.

P.S.:

★ 1. The author is a coward, so this story isn't scary.

★ 2. The female lead can fight. She's beautiful, but not sweet-natured.

★ 3. Inspired by Yang Jiang's essay Granny Meng's Tea.
