Cold Palace of the Emperor: Flowers Fade, None Mourn

The imperial palace is silent and desolate, the emperor's halls cold and bleak.

They all entered the imperial household for their breathtaking beauty, only to become the most helpless pawns in a game of power.

They once basked in the emperor's favor, every frown and smile captivating the capital. Then, in a single day, they lost his favor and met their ends amid the dust and smoke.

In their glory, blossoms surrounded them; in their downfall, they stood alone.

Their beauty had not yet faded when his favor was withdrawn. Nowhere is love more fickle than in the imperial household.

They traded their beauty for honor and wagered their lives on deep devotion, yet in the end, none could escape the fate of the inner palace.

The palace flowers bloomed and withered, beauties came and went, leaving behind only an eternal sigh.
