A pursuer who believes in letting the willing take the bait x a pursued who lures his target in deep

Jiang Xu, who debuted through a talent competition, had a "long" underground romance with his senior, Xi Sheng, for one year in his fifth year after debuting.

After they broke up, one won the world's most prestigious music award, while the other took home the film industry's highest acting honor.

Four years after they last saw each other, the two met at an event.

Reporter: "What do you think of each other?"

Jiang Xu fell silent for a long while before finally saying, "Teacher Xi is a great actor. It's as if he's wearing a mask, so you can't tell what's real and what's not."

Xi Sheng merely smiled, then looked straight at the camera. "Teacher Jiang's music is wonderful too. Whenever I can't sleep, I listen to one of his songs and fall right asleep."

As soon as the interview clip came out, #Jiang-Xi Feud: Former Senior and Junior Colleagues Fall Out# shot straight to the top of the trending charts.

Later, on a variety show, the two were "forced" onto the same team.

After they lost a game, the production team announced their punishment: each was given a glass of "super sour" lemonade and a piece of mustard bread that had been "specially prepared" for them.

As they faced their punishment, Jiang Xu held out the lemonade with his right hand and smoothly took the mustard bread Xi Sheng offered him.

After the show ended.

Jiang Xu: "I can handle mustard."

Xi Sheng: "I've always liked lemons."

The production team and both fanbases: "???"

Whether they could handle it or liked it wasn't the point. The real question was:

How did these two know each other's tastes?

Why were their movements so natural?

Didn't they hate each other?!

Could it be that...

To deal with my nemesis, I once learned all his likes and dislikes and every one of his habits. That's why I refuse to do anything the same way he does?

P.S. This is a work of fiction set in an alternate universe, not a realistic story.
