My Childhood Friend Is a Passionate, Stubborn, Honest Fool

Passion x Dreams x Teamwork

Battle x Sci-fi x Romance

It was the year 3547, the hundredth year since humanity entered the Dark Era.

The world had been split apart by the Gray Zone. Humanity had lost vast resources and was forced to live in cramped spaces or underground.

And the sun was gone forever.

Nalan had a dream.

Even if it lasted only 0.5 seconds, she wanted to bring the real sun and a vast world to people who had grown numb and depraved, people who had lost their dreams.

So, at the entrance ceremony for the 78th class of Camilla Military Academy, freshman representative Nalan Wright made the following declaration:

"One hundred and forty days from today, we will see the longest period of activity in nearly fifty years. On that day, at that moment, the sun will appear in the east. So, I, Nalan Wright, hereby swear that I will break through the Gray Zone and bring real sunlight to all of humanity."

"No matter what doubts or setbacks I face, nothing will change my resolve."

"Fei, do you think I'm crazy too?"

"No, Lan is a dreamer."

"And what about you?"

"I'm the foundation of the dream."

"Lan, chase your dream with all your heart. I'll break through every impossibility, every limitation, every obstacle in your way. I'll make the impossible things in your dream possible."

A third, fourth, and fifth voice cut in.

"Just you two?"

"No, all of us... everyone!"

#Not one person's dream, but the dream of a whole group of people.#

#A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a madness you can only experience once in a lifetime.#

#For you, I'm willing to become an honest fool who only knows how to burn with passion.#
