Sick

Female lead's perspective:

I waited alone at the foot of a cliff for twenty years, just to give the Dragon Proud Heaven male lead his power-up.

For the first five years, I was full of anticipation. If he fell down here, I'd give him a System starter pack and help him conquer heaven and earth and rule the world!

In the tenth year, I sighed softly. If he'd come sooner, I'd have given him peerless secret manuals and a sacred medicine that could cure poison.

By the fifteenth year, I was starting to fret. If he still didn't show up, I'd keep all the gifts for myself! I wouldn't leave him a single thing!

In the twentieth year, I was consumed by resentment. If he really did show up, I'd make him wish he were dead!

Male lead's perspective:

I was a distinguished young master from a prominent family, a high-ranking court official, until one day I was hunted down and accidentally fell off a cliff.

I never expected to meet a femme fatale there.

She crippled my martial arts, locked me in a dungeon, shattered my dignity, and crushed my pride!

I hated her, but she was also the only person in my entire world...

At last, one day, I escaped and came back for her.

But she stood beside a young monk, smiling brightly as she told me, "The past is the past. Now I just want to be a good person."

At that moment, a towering fury rose in my heart, and a sea of love and hate surged within me!

In short: You're vicious and I'm ruthless. We're a match made in heaven.
