Even kings shed tears. The first time, it was for a dear friend. The last time, who will it be for?
Even if he had another chance, King Gilgamesh would make the same choice. He had no regrets, but he truly did feel sorrow.
"Want to make a wish, Gil-kun?"
"And the price?"
"Haha, stay by my side forever, until..."
Ritsuka Fujimaru, humanity's last Master after repairing three Singularities, never imagined he'd nearly fail in a Pseudo-Singularity, and all because a walking disaster had botched things again. Then he saw... the king's tears.
PS:
1. The story is told mostly from Gudao's perspective, as he witnesses the beautiful love story of the King of Heroes from an outsider's point of view.
2. It mainly covers FZ, the Seventh Singularity, and a little of Chaldea, with some memories mixed in. It should be a short-to-medium-length story.
3. The journey is tragic, but the ending should be comedic. Here's an early spoiler: the king's magecraft, combined with Gudao's inexplicable favor from the world, summons someone who should be impossible to summon.
4. The idea for this story came from the fact that King Gilgamesh cried over Enkidu's death. It's a little angsty in the FZ section, but it shouldn't get too angsty afterward, since the king is broad-minded.
5. The original work is from the Type-Moon series. Any out-of-character behavior is my fault. If you can't keep reading, just leave quietly using the X in the top left. Please don't flame me.
Theme: One Holy Grail War in which Gilgamesh isn't arrogant.
Please update! I really want to see this setting [three-flowered cat head][three-flowered cat head][three-flowered cat head]
