All the Kids I Raised Have Grown Up

Meng Xingran, a little-known actor, has a secret.

He often falls into an uncontrollable sleep at night and gets trapped in dreams.

In those dreams are three little ones.

The first is tormented by school bullies;

the second is drained dry by their birth family;

the third was disfigured in a fire and trapped in a certain summer.

Meng Xingran reaches out with his long arm, becoming an "Aladdin's lamp": he punches scumbags, tramples the worst of the worst, and accompanies them through the darkest stretch of their lives.

When he wakes from the dream, Meng Xingran is still the same unknown actor.

Because of his striking looks, a sleazy investor tries to take advantage of him. Meng Xingran kicks the man to the ground, and the furious investor orders him blacklisted;

He earns an opportunity through his own ability, only to have it snatched away by someone who buys their way onto the production;

He gets paired with an award-winning actor, only to be mocked for shamelessly clinging to him to drum up publicity.

Meng Xingran: Maybe the entertainment industry and I just aren't meant to get along.

But then, unexpectedly,

The investor who tried to take advantage of him goes bankrupt;

The newcomer who bought a role is publicly dressed down by the original author;

The award-winning actor he's paired with replies in person: "I wanted this."

From then on, Meng Xingran becomes an overnight sensation. Every show he acts in becomes a hit, every variety program he appears on takes off, and he quickly becomes a top-tier star and an award-winning actor.

Everyone in the industry envies him: "Holy crap, he's a real-life lucky charm!"

Meng Xingran: What's it like to go from a nobody to a top-tier star, from the unluckiest guy alive to a lucky charm?

The once-pitiful little ones, now a great author, a CEO, and a superstar actor: You protected me once. Now I'll protect you.
