The Nth Playthrough of Winning Over Hat Guy

[This story was published in August 2020 and completed in December 2020. Its setting differs somewhat from that of the official novel about sixteen-year-olds published later, in 2021.] I was kidnapped by an otome game. It promised me 10 billion if I got a happy ending, but I might die. While I was struggling with the decision, the other party threw me a row of handsome men's photos and told me to pick one. Me: Oh, o-oh! I swear I really didn't want to give in, but they were all so handsome, especially that gentleman in the hat. He did look a little scary, though. He might be hard to win over. So I chose the bandaged gentleman, who seemed gentle. Ten minutes later, I came back with my head bleeding, crying and demanding to change targets. With the System's help (or rather, its terrible guidance), I finally got back on track after switching targets. Me: Could you give me some kind of golden finger? I feel like none of them are interested in me. System: How about a lucky draw? [Congratulations! You've obtained the item "Dream Butterfly." It will take effect as soon as you draw it.] Me: Sounds amazing. So what does it do? System: Makes you the protagonist of your target's wet dream. Me: ...Damn. I, Akagi Ritsu, would rather fail to win him over and die here than take that 10 billion. I absolutely will not use such despicable methods! Several days later. Watching the orange-haired boy blush and avert his eyes, Me (pondering): This item... seems kind of useful? Do you have any more? System: ...? Later, I discovered that my greatest golden finger was coming back to life at full health every time I got a bad ending. Reading guide: 1. The main text is in first person. 2. It's melodramatic, small in scope, and all about romance. 3. The System is a total trap. The heroine isn't powerful and has plenty of flaws. There are multiple routes and death scenes. 4. If you come across anything you don't like, just stop reading. I don't accept writing advice from any angle. If you come back after reading pirated copies to run your mouth, I'll insult you outright. Theme: Work hard and become the person you aspire to be.
