My Boyfriend Has Grown a Tail

When Lu An first met Qian Ye, he was crouched beside a dumpster, scavenging for food. A dark shape rustled in the shadows. Lu An was so frightened that he turned and ran, thinking that all his late-night walks had finally led him to a ghost.

The next time he saw Qian Ye, a bunch of brats had beaten him until his head was bleeding. He was so huge, yet he was hugging his head and trembling like an ostrich.

Lu An couldn't bear to leave him there, and before long his home had gained another freeloading mouth to feed. He ate a lot, but he was obedient and well-behaved, so Lu An couldn't really complain.

Then one day, Lu An discovered that his freeloader had grown black, pointed horns and an arrow-tipped tail after getting drunk!

As the last demon in the world, Qian Ye had been warned by the lingering souls of his ancestors from the day he was born: Never offend humans, or they'll capture you for experiments. They'll even put you in a cage and keep you as a pet!

Taking his ancestors' advice to heart, he nervously skulked around the edges of the city. When he was hungry, he scavenged for food. When he saw humans, he hurriedly hid. If he couldn't get away, he played ostrich. He was as timid as could be, until kindhearted Lu An took him in.

Sitting on the sofa, Qian Ye crunched on potato chips. "Mmm, being a pet doesn't seem so bad!"

Lu An grabbed his swishing, arrow-tipped tail. "?? I thought of you as my wife. You think I see you as a pet?"
