Only Then Did I Realize the Sea Was Not Deep Enough for Longing
Old-school vibes, mostly light reading for leisure. Four stars means an enjoyable read; five stars means a personal favorite! I’ll swap books out whenever the list gets full.
Master Bottoms Are So Delicious
A super researcher of shizun stories. Everything listed has been completed. Five stars means highly recommended. I didn’t give some books an A because several chapters were locked and I hadn’t bought the full versions, grr...
Completed Historical Danmei With Bottom Protagonists (Still a Work in Progress)
Overall, I don't think there are any major dealbreakers. I'll write detailed reviews for the short-review entries when I have time. (Contains spoilers. What I can handle may not work for other shou fans. I care about how the love and devotion are portrayed. If you have other dealbreakers, feel free to comment and give a heads-up.)
Master and Disciple
All teacher-student romances. I haven't read one, so they don't take up space on my shelves. Saving them here for myself.
My Saved Reading Lists
Books I’ve saved so far, all with tropes I like. Some I’ve read, some I haven’t. They should all be historical danmei. If you’re out of things to read, take a look, darlings.
Go Ahead and Read
Yeah, I kind of forget, but I usually read that sort of historical story where the top dotes on the bottom. You know, the usual formula. I can’t remember exactly. I really can’t.
Younger Disciple and Older Master Stories
All wonderfully bittersweet stories of deep master-disciple bonds. I just love this kind of shizun!
Transmigrate into a Book
Good stories
Shizun Bottom Stories (In No Particular Order, Logic Not Required)
Master tops are the best! I've read lots on Jinjiang, but it's still not enough. I've left out the classics since everyone has already read them. For anyone passing by who also loves master tops, feel free to check out this list!

I feel sorry for Jiang Fei, but my sweetheart left without doing anything wrong, and my relationship with myself got so bad because of the quarrel. It's a pity, but Shen Fengqu and Chu Linyuan are still a perfect match!
There are figures of widows in every Master's novel
Ah, it's over. The ending is too friendly to a perfectionist like me. The only regret is Jiang Fei.
Ahhhhhh it suits my taste so much!! I finished it in one go and plan to watch it a million times again
Fully ordered. This book was written 20 years ago. I only read it 24 years ago, but the good writing still remains timeless.
I feel sorry for Jiang Jian Shen, I will light the wax for you for three seconds.
Great writing skills, come on!
Finished with flowers, la la la la la~
It's actually pretty good-looking. . It combines a variety of XPs, such as women's clothing, amnesia, and water decoction, and the attacking and accepting characters are also good. Maybe I am more receptive to smooth writing. In the first chapter, I just checked it over and over again and threw it away without being surprised. . . . This is the master-disciple thing!
