Once More, the Jade Tower Blooms Like Snow

In the year she came of age, Suisui learned that she was not of royal blood.

Her title of princess was stripped from her, and she became her imperial brother Jiang Xian's caged songbird for four years. As she lay dying, her one wish was to escape the madman Jiang Xian.

On the day her illness took a turn for the worse, she smiled beautifully.

She told Jiang Xian, "Goodbye. Let's never see each other again."

Blood stained her face. Jiang Xian's expression darkened, and he said nothing as he gripped her wrist.

He wanted to keep her, Suisui knew, but she no longer wanted him.

Unfortunately, she didn't die.

When she opened her eyes again, she had become the sixth daughter of the Nan family.

Then she heard even worse news. After her death, Jiang Xian had planned to kill the man who was her betrothed in name, and had imprisoned her mentally ill mother consort...

Suisui: He's insane!!!

...To save her mother consort, she had no choice but to give it another try.

After the sixth daughter of the Nan family entered the palace, the emperor's favor toward her never waned. Some said he loved her eyes because they resembled the princess's.

When she smiled, they curved like a crescent moon.

Suisui sat in Jiang Xian's arms, sobbing as she watched him put on her shoes and socks. Her tearful eyes were red as peach blossoms.

"Imperial Brother, I'm not the sixth daughter of the Nan family. I'm Suisui."

She had wanted to say that they couldn't make the same mistake again.

But Jiang Xian gave a soft laugh and said, "I know. So don't call me Imperial Brother."

His breathing grew heavier than his voice. "Suisui, I don't want to be your imperial brother."

Jiang Xian still remembered what Suisui had said as she left. She had been going to her death, yet she had said goodbye with such hope: "Goodbye, Jiang Xian."

He had lowered his eyes and said, "All right. Goodbye."

If they could not meet again in life,

then they would meet in death.

Fortunately, she had returned.
