Only later does she realize that what she assembled is actually a mighty being with incredible destructive power, who perished more than a hundred million years ago.

"My home is a water-blue planet. There's a boy I like there. His name is Chong Yuan."

"Jiang Cha, the Milky Way has fallen. General Chong Yuan has fallen, too."

"I know. I still like him."

When Chong Yuan was obliterated along with his fleet, he once silently vowed:

If he ever woke again, he would snap the necks of every member of the Interstellar Alliance.

But when he opened his eyes again, he discovered that he'd become a shoddy robot.

The one who assembled him was a young girl from the Interstellar Alliance.

He stiffly moved his rusty mechanical claws and jerkily approached her. Before he could get near her neck, a powerful electric current knocked him flat.

A warning kept echoing through his rusty brain: "Warning! Warning! You are attempting to attack your master. Stop immediately or you will be scrapped on the spot."

The girl propped her chin in her hands and smiled at him. "You're online? How about calling me 'Master'?"

After Accidentally Raising an Eldritch Evil God

A lab accident leads Qiao Yi to create a transparent monster.

The little creature looks like a jellyfish and is rather adorable.

As her assistant wails, Qiao Yi coldly and mercilessly puts the little monster down.

But from that day on, she notices strange things happening at home

For instance, the fish in her aquarium keep mysteriously dying;

There are always trails of water across her bed and floor;

When she has a fever, she vaguely sees a soft-bodied creature holding her and cooling her down...

For a while, Qiao Yi suspects that an escaped fugitive trying to steal classified information is behind it all.

Finally, one day, she finds proof that the fugitive has broken into her home. She hurries back, only to discover that the man has mysteriously vanished.

And there's a pale-skinned young man in her bathtub.

With a jellyfish for a head, he lies submerged in the blood-red water. He chews on something, then slowly turns around, his expression innocent and guileless.

"Qiao Yi... hello..."

"I'm Sean."

Qiao Yi looks up and sees that her bath-time reading has fallen open, blood soaking through the page about legends of the deep sea.

The illustration shows a monster of the deep, named the Evil God Sean.

Qiao Yi discovers that the little monster she can't kill is a quick learner.

Fascinated, she teaches him to speak and write, and to retract his tentacles and tail.

The day the little monster successfully imitates a human, Qiao Yi happily prepares to send him to a biological observation center.

But the little monster turns evil and abducts her to the deep sea.

Only then does she realize that Sean isn't the name he imitated.

It's his real name.
