Marrying the Sickly, Scheming Eunuch

After a palace coup, Shen Luohuan becomes an unwanted princess and falls into the hands of Eunuch Director Gu Yu.

Gu Yu is vicious and heartless, but he treats Shen Luohuan differently.

At Gu Yu's place, Shen Luohuan discovers the imprisoned Crown Prince. With reddened eyes, she rushes into his arms. "Don't worry, Imperial Brother. I'll get you out of here."

The Crown Prince holds her slender waist and gently strokes it. "Only Gu Yu can save the empire. You should treat him better."

For her brother's sake, Shen Luohuan starts currying favor with Gu Yu. But Gu Yu takes it too far and nearly makes her his partner.

Not long afterward, Gu Yu plans to help Shen Luohuan ascend the throne.

Shen Luohuan sobs, "The throne belongs to Imperial Brother."

Gu Yu pinches her chin, wearing a faintly amused smile. "Be good and listen to your elder brother."

Only then does Shen Luohuan learn that the Crown Prince is Gu Yu in disguise.

After his family is slaughtered, Gu Yu endures humiliation and enters the palace as a eunuch, where he is fortunate enough to meet the Crown Prince.

Before the Crown Prince dies of illness, he asks Gu Yu to look after Shen Luohuan and help her ascend the throne. But the little princess looks at Gu Yu with nothing but hatred and refuses to trust him.

After giving it some thought, Gu Yu disguises himself as the Crown Prince and gradually wins the little princess's trust, only to fall for her himself.

Gu Yu suffered in his youth and has grown into a domineering, obsessive man. He'll stop at nothing to get what he wants, including the fair-skinned, beautiful little princess.

Shen Luohuan is pinned down on the throne, and cries out in a huff, "If you dare touch me, I'll kill you."

Gu Yu covers her lips with his. "Go ahead."

Bold little princess vs. obsessive chief eunuch

Reader's Guide: 1. The story is entirely fictional, with lots of original worldbuilding. Don't take it too seriously.

2. The male lead is a fake eunuch. Both leads are virgins. Happy ending.

Theme: No matter what happens, keep persevering and working hard.
