Also known as: Give the Interstellar World a Taste of Delicious Food
This is edible! This is edible! This one's edible too!
You mean this? It's edible if you prepare it first!
And that one isn't edible, but its leaves make a wonderfully sweet drink when steeped in water!
So don't throw it away! Don't throw it away! Whatever you do, don't throw it away!
What cures your troubles? Eating and drinking!
1.
After an accidental car crash, Tao Te went from being an ordinary human to a newly adult insect of the grasshopper suborder, and his life changed completely.
The vast, boundless sea of stars, all kinds of alien species, and civilizations both brilliant and lonely.
And the Milky Way, now the desolate Z001-001 star system, a silent, dark wasteland.
2.
Reborn in another world, Tao Te thought his biggest problem would be the eye-wateringly expensive medical bills. He never expected it to be one unbearable tube of awful-tasting nutrient solution after another.
We're in the interstellar age. Can't we eat something better? Tao Te wondered. Tao Te suffered. Tao Te gulped down another tube of nutrient solution.
Finally, as his stomach and soul roared in protest, Tao Te fried himself a bird's egg and began his journey of fending for himself at mealtimes.
3.
All kinds of food collided with the vast, lonely cosmos, turning ingredients from millions of light-years away into one delicious dish after another.
The comfort food brings warms far more than just the stomach.
4.
The Z001-001 star system, known to an ancient civilization as the Milky Way.
The main-sequence star has died, the planets have shattered, and the depths of space are filled with celestial debris and fragments of stardust.
What about Blue Star? And humanity? Where are they?
The silly version: On the first day after transmigrating and being reborn, Tao Te successfully blended in with the other bugs, guzzling down a tube of nutrient solution like a pro as his emerald wings fluttered. The second day went just as well, his compound eyes gleaming brightly. It wasn't until the seventh day that Tao Te finally couldn't take it anymore and fried himself an egg. Its rich, oily aroma brought shimmering tears to the corners of his eyes and mouth. On the eighth day, he made a bowl of silky, tender steamed egg. On the ninth, he had plump boiled eggs with ground spices... In short, the bugs on the other side of the screen are drooling with envy again today.
A cool-headed, perceptive, rational butterfly seme x a cheerful, instinctive grasshopper uke. 1v1, happy ending.
