Please add my upcoming novel, Deep in the Hundred Flowers, to your collection:
Deep in the Hundred Flowers lives an unfortunate girl named Hua'er. Hua'er is a night watchwoman. Every night, when darkness falls, she takes up her bamboo clapper in her delicate hands and follows the constables, calling out like a soul summoner. Second Master Bai is a light sleeper. Whenever he settles down to sleep, her trembling cries reach his ears and keep him awake. After a while, he decides he wants to marry her, gag her, and finally get a good night's rest.
As it turns out, the matchmaker has barely stepped inside and warmed her seat before Hua'er, who clearly doesn't know what's good for her, chases her right back out. “I'll marry anyone but that infamous Second Master Bai!”
I'm no good at writing blurbs. This is a slice-of-life story about ordinary people, and the intertwined joys and sorrows of all kinds of lives.
Thunder and rain, all are gifts of grace
Blurb:
In the tenth year of Dayi, the empress dies. The court officials want the emperor to use the resources of the whole nation to choose a new empress. Emperor Qingnian waves a hand and says, “No need. Xun Si, daughter of Xun Liang, the God of War of the Northwest, is the foremost female scholar in the Northwest. She is worthy of the title.” The officials marvel at how the emperor has managed to kill several birds with one stone.
On the day Xun Si enters the city, Emperor Qingnian escorts her bridal sedan for ten li. From afar, he sees a woman step out of it: her face veiled in red, her figure swaying like a “giant willow,” her strides broad and confident. Judging by the sight, she must weigh at least five jun.
Without changing expression, Emperor Qingnian takes his new empress by the hand. Thus begins their marriage in name only.
Xun Si is lazy, gluttonous, uneducated, and content to while away her days. She cuts corners and is a master at flattering people. Emperor Qingnian turns a blind eye, never nitpicking, and lets things slide.
That is, until one day, his empress casts off her usual carefree manner and gazes with longing at Han Cheng, a fierce general from the Northwest, as if she would gladly toss aside her phoenix crown and run away with him. Only then does he realize Xun Si has been putting on an expert performance. Emperor Qingnian flies into a rage. “You think you can fight me? You're still too green!”
Content warnings:
1. Xun Si deliberately made herself fat before being sent off to marry.
2. Xun Si has a white moonlight in her heart. Emperor Qingnian does not.
3. The male lead has a harem and children, more than one. Read with caution if that bothers you. After marrying the female lead, he has no relations with anyone else.
4. Later, the story becomes one-on-one, with a happy ending.
Theme: Keep the world in your heart, but love the person before you, too. Together, protect the world.
Hahahaha, it was Changfeng's little animal, okay? A house full of animals deceived the emperor's little princess, and she still cried to death. Hahaha, it seems that Changfeng's story is also a crematorium for chasing his wife.
Second brush, I really like their love for their family and country before their children, but they are both willing to risk their lives for each other. But I can't help but think about what Yun Dan would do if he accidentally gave birth to a prince instead of a princess. If he grew up and was more suitable for the throne than Siqiao's child, what would Yun Dan choose? I know this idea is very paranoid, but it is also very realistic. Maybe I still feel that Xun Si has suffered too many injustices before (of course I know that this journey will not be easy from Yun Tan's perspective)
What about the little prince's extra story?
I like this one the most among the three, it makes me laugh the most and cry the most! When I first saw the name Dingxi, I thought of Dingxi Kuanfen?
In the extra chapter, I couldn't stop crying when I saw those young men wearing bright clothes and angry horses, and the scene where Xunsi Yuntan is old. I hate being separated the most.
How wonderful. Now I can understand Si'er and Xiaoxing'er.
My daughter is also a wonderful woman~
The best ancient saying I have read this year! No! The most beautiful ancient saying I have ever read so far, woo woo woo, if you can find it in reality, Miss Si is the best girl!
I really like the heroine, but I don't like the introduction of songs, so it's hard for me to read the introduction chapter in the small version. The large version focuses on the heroine. It's so uncomfortable. I love the heroine so much. Can you write another novel with this style of heroine?
From the Early Spring trilogy to Kawazen, and then to the Qingfeng trilogy.
I have also reached Consummation and am ready to read the next book.
It's really good-looking, I don't like people who read ancient novels...
