The Misaligned Lives of the Backup and the White Moonlight

I couldn't get into my original upcoming story, "After Becoming an Omega, I Married My Mortal Enemy," so I've switched to a new idea. Sorry! ORZ Full title: "The Miserable Omega Backup and the Scumbag Alpha's White Moonlight: A Life Misaligned" The leads' names may change before I start posting! At his childhood friend's request, Pei Yihao helps look after his friend's unrequited love, the cannon-fodder recipient, while he's back in the country. Whatever the cannon-fodder recipient wants, Pei Yihao gives him. It's his childhood friend who's paying, anyway. When the cannon-fodder recipient pursues the scumbag gong, Pei Yihao helps his friend talk him out of walking into a trap. When the cannon-fodder recipient learns he's a substitute for the scumbag gong's white moonlight and is heartbroken, his friend worries he might do something rash, so Pei Yihao spends the whole night at his place to keep him company. But everyone thinks Pei Yihao is the cannon-fodder recipient's devoted, groveling backup. Even the scumbag gong and the cannon-fodder recipient think so. Scumbag gong: "You chase him, and he chases me. As long as I'm around, you'll never have a chance." Cannon-fodder recipient: "I'm sorry. You're a good person, but I still like the scumbag gong." Pei Yihao: "Could you say that again? I want to record it so my friend will finally give up." - At the scumbag gong and cannon-fodder recipient's wedding banquet, Pei Yihao accidentally drinks himself silly. The next morning, he wakes to fresh bite marks covering his gland, wrapped in another alpha's pheromones. The person lying beside him is the scumbag gong's white moonlight. - After an accident, Pei Yihao discovers he's not his family's biological son.
