I Have a Divine Godfather

Rong Yi has been terribly unlucky lately.

If drinking cold water could make you choke, she'd choke every day.

She went out, came back, and found the neighborhood on fire. She stood up straight and took a closer look. Oh, it was her home.

Rong Yi: ...

Her cousin, who had just won a million in the lottery, was acting strangely too. She kept apologizing to Rong Yi for no apparent reason.

Rong Yi: Ah, I spent the whole week writing forty thousand words of my thesis, and it disappeared while I was in the bathroom.

Cousin: I really feel for you, but I guess that's just fate. I'm sorry.

Rong Yi: ?????

Her parents, who had been deeply in love for years, were suddenly on the verge of splitting up. Rong Yi couldn't help thinking that her name had turned out to be deeply ironic.

Just when her bad luck reached its absolute peak,

Thunder cracked, and her fairy godmother appeared out of thin air!

Rong Yi looked at the man before her, with his strong, upright build, impeccably tailored suit, and charming, handsome face, then slowly uttered two words.

“Godmother?”

“Godfather.” He Gan placed his right hand over his chest and bowed slightly. His voice was low, his gaze gentle and deep.

From that day on, Rong Yi's good luck came crashing in like a giant wave.

“Congratulations, you've received a golden finger: the Evil Eye.” He Gan extended his slender index finger and lightly waved it in front of Rong Yi.

Tiny flecks of gold shimmered down, covering her head.

Rong Yi: ...

“Darling, what would you like to do with this golden finger?” As a proper fairy godfather, He Gan scattered the gold dust with practiced ease.

Rong Yi: “I wish whoever stole my luck would get hit by a car when they go out.”

“What a lovely idea.” The black-haired, light-eyed man smiled, then continued showering her with gold dust.

Rong Yi, already buried in gold dust: ...

Three hours later, her mother called. Her cousin, the one who had won a million in the lottery...

Had been hit by a car.

Rong Yi: ... Wow, I guess that's just fate.
