Going Broke After Being Eaten by a Panda

At the brink of life and death, Tang Qing was rescued by a panda.

Amidst the clouds of dust, he stared dumbfounded as the black-and-white fluffy ball climbed out of a crater, rubbing its bottom. Its chubby little black paw lifted and fell, effortlessly smacking away a vicious insectoid beast that had been chewing on its little foot.

The fluffy ball looked up. A human and a panda gazed into each other's eyes.

The panda: "Squeak."

Tang Qing warily took half a step back.

Was that move supposed to be serious? The panda looked a little hurt. It twitched its round black ears, hugged its belly, and squeaked twice more. When Tang Qing remained unmoved, it scampered over to him in just a few quick steps, moving as fast as a black-and-white lightning bolt. It rubbed against his leg and rolled around, looking up at him and crying in a soft, sweet voice.

Tang Qing: What?! What kind of creature is this? It's kind of weirdly cute?

The panda: Hungry! Hungry! Got anything to eat? I'm starving! Do you even understand what I'm saying?

Later, Tang Qing brought the panda home and named it Tang Yuanyuan. Then Tang Yuanyuan went with Tang Qing when he left his family.

However, before Tang Qing could make a name for himself out in the world, Tang Yuanyuan ate him into bankruptcy.

But he still had to stay in school, and he still had to take care of the panda, so Tang Qing struggled to juggle school and earning money.

One day, Tang Qing was surrounded on the training field by a few underachievers from his class.

Tang Qing sneered at the classmates across from him, who usually did nothing but slack off. "You think you can beat me just because there's more of you? Who gave you the guts?"

"Don't be scared. Just go for it." Tang Qing climbed into his mech and gave the order. "Yuanyuan, let's move."

Before he could finish speaking, the world spun around him. Tang Qing felt lightheaded as the scenery rushed past.

Tang Yuanyuan hoisted Tang Qing onto its back and ran straight for the academic affairs office without looking back. Teacher! Teacher! Bad students are bullying a classmate!!!

Tang Qing, who'd planned to defeat them and make them his underlings: ???

Tang Yuanyuan's self-assessment: Soft and fluffy, weak, pitiful, and helpless. But I still protect Qingqing really well.
