Main story blurb:

In an infinite game, one player was an oddity. While everyone else racked their brains to get through the scenarios, he headed straight for the ghosts and played a God Card.

Everyone: What the hell, you can play like that? Did he pay to win?

Ghosts: Sob, sob, why is a weapon of mass destruction like this here?

God of the Morning Star: Who the hell interrupted my life simulation game?!!

Demon God of Envy: Some puny human dares disturb my retirement? You're dead!

God of Death: This is my little amusement park, and all humans are my toys!

Later on,

the God of the Morning Star begged for a job in the cruise ship's display case of gods and demons,

the Demon God of Envy got a second career serving food aboard the ship,

and the God of Death wore a uniform and guarded the entrance.

One day, the Demon God of Seduction passed by and jeered, "Well, well, isn't that Envy? Fancy seeing you working here as a waiter!"

The Demon God of Envy turned around and quietly whispered to Chu Mu: Don't you think a Demon God of Seduction card would come in handy?

Some time later, the Demon God of Envy smiled at the Demon God of Seduction. "Hello, new colleague!"

However, overnight, evil spirits erupted everywhere. Celestial tomb beacons appeared across the globe, and evil spirits rampaged out from them, leaving ordinary people no chance of survival.

A flash of silver light ripped through the dark sky. Chu Lingyuan, the Chu family's good-for-nothing who usually did nothing but eat, drink, and enjoy himself, tossed out a silver dragon figurine he'd carved on a whim.

The figurine transformed into a giant silver dragon, and every evil spirit in its path turned to ash.

Standing atop the dragon's enormous head, Chu Lingyuan gazed down at the crowd, languid and regal. "The Chosen of the Gods? Sorry, I'm a summoner."

From then on, wherever Chu Lingyuan went, the evil spirits were utterly devastated:

You never knew what Chu Lingyuan might summon.

It could be a dragon one moment, their own general the next, and the Son of the God of Light right after.

Just as the King of Evil Spirits was about to kill Chu Lingyuan, God's Tear shattered. The God of Light, said to have slumbered for countless years, emerged from within.

The god, wearing the crown of the divine race, lowered his eyes, tenderness mixed with determination.

"Darling, I know that when humans live apart, the next step is divorce. I won't agree to it."
