[Synopsis]
Shen Wan, the beautiful and refined daughter of the Grand Tutor, was engaged to the crown prince. She was the envy of every young noblewoman in the capital.
Until one night, she dreamed of her future.
In her dream, on the eve of her wedding to the crown prince, her older sister and fiancé conspired against her. She spent a night with a stranger and became pregnant with his child. When the truth came out, she was poisoned, and both she and her unborn child died.
After waking from the dream, Shen Wan resolved to change her fate. She kicked her scumbag crown prince to the curb, exposed her sister's true face, and set about finding herself a powerful protector.
But through a twist of fate, she still ended up pregnant.
Afraid of suffering the same fate as in her dream, Shen Wan packed her things that very night and slipped out of the house under cover of darkness.
But not long after she left the city, the child's father caught her.
The man wrapped an arm around her still-slim waist, his expression dark. "Wanwan, where are you planning to run off to with my child?"
Shen Wan was stunned. Her dream hadn't told her that the child's father was the crown prince's younger uncle.

[Content Notes]
1. Both leads are sexually inexperienced, and it's a one-on-one romance. A sweet, gentle young lady x a highly esteemed young lord.
2. The male lead uses a secret identity early on. This is a classic run-away-with-the-baby story. The heroine is rather soft and gentle, and there's a six-year age gap.
3. The setting is entirely fictional. The plot logic exists only to make things swoony and satisfying.
"Hidden Beauty"
To everyone else, Qin Youwei had a life of unbroken good fortune.
Born into a prestigious family, she was a noble young lady. In her youth, she and the current emperor were childhood friends. After coming of age, she received the late emperor's favor and married into the wealthy Zhou family, becoming the wife of its eldest son.
Yet no one knew that in the three years since their wedding, her husband had barely set foot in her bedroom. He took many concubines, one after another bearing him children, while she remained alone and miserable.
Then, at a spring banquet, Qin Shiwei was invited to the palace by the empress dowager for a private chat. But after the palace maids neglected her, she got lost on her own and wandered into a peach grove.
Peach petals drifted down like snow filling the sky, and a tall man's figure came into view.
Before long, a new imperial consort appeared in the palace. The palace staff didn't know her true identity. They only knew that she was the one lady in the palace who enjoyed the emperor's undivided favor.
As for the young madam of the Zhou family outside the palace, she had quietly vanished without a trace.
Zhou Fang had never cared about his wife. No matter how gentle, virtuous, and understanding she was, she had never caught his eye.
But for some reason, Qin Youwei had recently changed. Whenever he looked at her, a hint of alluring charm seemed to appear in her eyes.
He assumed she was trying to win his favor, until one day they entered the palace together.
At the banquet, the emperor gazed at his wife with tender affection. It made Zhou Fang uncomfortable, so the two of them left the banquet at the same time.
He was so restless, certain that something major had happened. When they returned moments later, he finally relaxed a little.
But then he saw, to his astonishment, several peach petals on his wife's skirt. The emperor seated high on the throne wore similar petals on his imperial robes.
