After leaving the stage for three years, Tang Yuqi returned to the talent show stage simply to fulfill her fans' wishes.

But after her previous experience on a talent show, and seeing the shady dealings behind the entertainment industry, she no longer cared about the outcome beyond the stage and her fans.

Until she met Chu Jing, a girl who said she was her fan.

The girl was kind and sincere, and her affection for Tang Yuqi was gentle yet intense.

When Tang Yuqi was targeted once again by a rich producer's unspoken rules, Chu Jing stood in front of her without hesitation.

She held her tight and said, "Don't be afraid, Sister. You still have me."

Chu Jing had liked Tang Yuqi for two and a half years.

As a veteran superfan, she naturally knew her idol extremely well.

So when she learned Tang Yuqi was going to compete on the talent show Star Selection 2021,

she rushed to sign up too, embarking on a strange path of self-deprecation to protect her idol's debut.

Onstage.

Facing the camera, Chu Jing opened her heart: "All the songs I've been learning lately are Tang Yuqi's."

Passersby: "Oh my god! This girl is so nice. She's even accompanying that scheming bitch! I'm voting for her!"

In the practice room.

Chu Jing tugged at Tang Yuqi, who wanted to take a break, and was accused of being on bad terms with her and disrespecting her.

Passersby and Tang Yuqi's fans: "What's Chu Jing's problem? Does she not know how to stand on her own without putting others down?"

At the finals.

Chu Jing debuted as part of the group, and Tang Yuqi was the first to walk over and hug her, celebrating her dream coming true.

Onlookers: "Putting her down? On bad terms? Did we get the wrong story before?"

Later, it was revealed that Chu Jing was one of Tang Yuqi's biggest fans.

Antis: "What the hell, how is she any different from a sasaeng?"

Tang Yuqi defended her: "Sasaengs want to spy on someone's private life. She just stands beside me in the open and dances. Please know the difference."

Chu Jing's self-deprecating act turned public opinion in her favor. Meanwhile, the two fanbases, who had never gotten along, completely tore into each other on their respective forums.

Curled up in Tang Yuqi's arms, Chu Jing leisurely posted on Weibo.

@Chu Jing V: #ChuJingSuperTopic# We're all one family. Stop fighting!

Both fanbases: "Who (you) is family with you (who)!?"

@Tang Yuqi V: #TangYuqiSuperTopic# We're all one family. Stop fighting.

Both fanbases: "??? Why does that sound so familiar???"
