*Same-sex marriage is legal, rekindled love

Three years ago, Yi Ningzhi was forced by her family circumstances to break Wei Xixue's heart.

Three years later, she returned to China with one goal: to win back the girlfriend she had left behind.

Wei Xixue struggled through those three years alone.

When the person who had vanished without a goodbye finally returned, she could no longer tell whether what she felt was obsession or love.

Wei Xixue: When you can do everything on your own, you don't need a lover.

Yi Ningzhi: That's okay. We can get to know each other all over again.

Yi Ningzhi started playing the game that Wei Xixue had poured her feelings into, then arranged to work with her on a project.

She got to know Wei Xixue again, and began to weave herself back into Wei Xixue's life, little by little.

Wei Xixue: You emotional fraud!

Yi Ningzhi: Feel my heart. I'm serious about you.
