After the Vampire Became a D-Lister

1.

Jian Yi was a barely-known actress with one-quarter European ancestry. By chance, she landed a role in the film The Last Vampire, acting opposite award-winning actor Tang Boyan.

On camera, Tang Boyan wrapped an arm around Jian Yi's waist and lifted her chin with one hand. "Come with me. I've got plenty of blood."

Off camera, Jian Yi camped outside Tang Boyan's trailer day and night, chasing after him and calling him "big brother." With her face pale and pitiful, she begged him, "Let me take one bite, please!"

Nobody knew that Jian Yi was a genuine vampire to begin with.

During the film's promotional run, fans were up in arms, regularly sending Jian Yi to the top of the trending searches with their insults.

"That slutty face is disgusting."

"Jumping on the bandwagon for clout. Shameless."

"Some nobody trying to latch onto my oppa. Get lost."

That night in their hotel room, Jian Yi bit her lip and asked Tang Boyan in a feeble voice, "Do you also think I'm shameless and want me to get lost?"

Tang Boyan pressed a hand to his still-bleeding neck and let out a helpless sigh. "I just want a Band-Aid."

After the film aired, Jian Yi won countless fans with her superb acting, sweet looks, and adorable little vampire fangs. The fans who had insulted her before flooded Weibo with tags, practically forcing themselves to donate blood!

"Yibao, my blood tastes like strawberries. Come bite me!"

"Stop hanging around that man Tang Boyan. Men are all gross!"

"That old lech Tang Boyan, stop staring at my baby!"

Tang Boyan: "???"
